💰 Jar Deposit Refund

How does the deposit system work?

When purchasing, you pay:

  • Meal price (e.g. 12.99 PLN)
  • Jar deposit (e.g. 5.00 PLN)

After eating the meal, return the empty jar at any Awaryjny Słoik vending machine and automatically get your deposit refunded to your card within 24 hours.

Where can I return the jar?

  • Purchases at vending machine – return the jar at the same or any other Awaryjny Słoik vending machine
  • Online purchases with delivery – after eating the meal, return the empty jar at any Awaryjny Słoik vending machine in your area

You can return jars without time limit.


Withdrawal from Contract

If you are a consumer – as a rule, you have the right to withdraw from a distance contract.

You can withdraw from the contract by submitting a statement of withdrawal, e.g., via email sent to:

Return the goods promptly to:

However, no later than 14 days from the day you withdrew from the contract.


Withdrawal Period

You can withdraw from the contract within 14 days.

The fourteen-day period for withdrawal from the contract begins:

  • for a contract in which we deliver goods, being obliged to transfer ownership – from taking possession of the goods by you or a third party indicated by you other than the carrier,
  • for digital content – from the date of conclusion of the contract.

To meet the deadline, it is sufficient to send the statement before its expiry.


Refund

We will refund all payments made by you, including the costs of delivering the goods as specified in the regulations, promptly, but no later than 14 days from the day we receive your statement of withdrawal from the contract.

The seller refunds payments using the same payment method used by the consumer, unless the consumer has expressly agreed to a different refund method that does not involve any costs.

We may withhold the refund until we receive the goods back or you provide proof of their shipment – whichever occurs first.


Exclusions from the Right of Withdrawal

Please note that the right to withdraw from a distance contract does not apply to consumers, among others, in relation to contracts:

  • in which the subject of performance is a non-prefabricated item, produced according to consumer specifications or serving to satisfy their individualized needs,
  • in which the subject of performance is an item subject to rapid deterioration or having a short shelf life,
  • in which the subject of performance is an item delivered in sealed packaging, which cannot be returned after opening due to health protection or hygiene reasons, if the packaging was opened after delivery,
  • in which the subject of performance are audio or video recordings or computer programs delivered in sealed packaging, if the packaging was opened after delivery,
  • for the supply of digital content not recorded on a tangible medium, if performance began with the consumer's express consent before the deadline for withdrawal and after informing them by the entrepreneur of the loss of the right to withdraw.

Note: You can always return the empty jar and get your deposit back – regardless of withdrawal from the contract.


Claims

If you are a Consumer and the goods purchased from us turn out to be defective, you have the right to make a claim based on warranty.

How to file a claim?

Step 1: Notification
Inform us about the claim by email: kontakt@awaryjnysloik.pl

In your message, include:

  • Description of the defect
  • Order number (if available)
  • Contact phone number

Step 2: Returning the goods
Send the claimed goods to: Challengeen Sp. z o.o., ul. Wielkopolska 65/12, 80-180 Gdańsk, Poland

Important: Include a note with your contact phone number in the shipment – this will enable us to quickly contact you regarding the claim resolution.

In connection with a defect, you can demand:

  • replacement of the item with one free from defects,
  • removal of the defect,

or make a statement about:

  • price reduction,
  • withdrawal from the contract – in case of a significant defect.

We are liable to you for defects found before the expiry of two years from the date of delivery of the goods.

As a rule, you can submit a claim within one year of noticing the defect, but the time for filing a claim cannot end before the expiry of the seller's liability period.

Your claim will be considered (responded to) within 14 days from the date we receive your claim.
